Widowmaker Brewing
Widowmaker started as a passion homebrew project in co-owner Ryan’s basement in 2015. By 2016 Ryan and our other two owners, Colin and Bud decided to go join forces and open a brick-and-mortar brewery; they signed a lease on 220 Wood Road in Braintree, MA. Following a yearlong build out, Widowmaker Brewing Co. opened its doors on September 23, 2017.
Since then, we’ve grown from a 7-barrel brewhouse with 35 barrels of fermentation space to our current 15-barrel brewhouse with 345 barrels of fermentation space.
Our team is made up of fun-loving, passionate beer people. Out back the production crew works tirelessly to make you the best beer they can; always tinkering with techniques and recipes and striving for that perfect pour. Our tap room team works hard to make sure your visit is the best it can be, whether it’s for beers in the tap room or a quick stop to pick up beer to go. They are always excited to share their beer knowledge with you!

Inspired by the liquid in the bottle, we have scoured the US and beyond to find, what we believe, to be the best beer, cider and mead available in the world. We go to great lengths to then get these liquids to the customer in the best possible condition. Our suppliers work hard to make a world class product and we’re dedicated to treating them with the respect they deserve.
We do not carry multinational macro-lagers or “utility” beers
We do not carry beer brewed with adjuncts used to reduce flavor and body.
We are not in the business of “moving boxes”
