Left Hand Brewing
It all started with a humble homebrew kit and a desire to elevate the craft beer scene in the U.S.
Frustrated by the monotony of bland beer options at home, and inspired by the rich flavors they discovered in Europe, Air Force friends Eric Wallace and Dick Doore embarked on a mission to craft the kind of beer they craved themselves. A hobby quickly spiraled into an obsession, and it wasn’t long before Left Hand Brewing was born in Longmont, Colorado in September of 1993. Thirty plus years later, we’re still flipping the script and building community around better beer.
When the mainstream goes right, we go left.
When other breweries were adding concentrates to wheat beer, we were hand-juicing ginger for Good Juju. When the industry told us American Nitro beer couldn’t be bottled, we invented it. When we saw the need to provide disaster relief and community giving at home, we started the Left Hand Brewing Foundation. When we wanted to support those who fight Multiple Sclerosis, we raised millions for the National MS Society and became a National Sponsor for Bike MS.
Damn good people brewing damn good beer.
It’s been a roller coaster of a journey over the past 30+ years, but we thrive on overcoming and constantly raising the beer bar. We’re not guided by what anybody else is doing, and we’ve always been proud of what we stamp our left hand of approval on. We’re our toughest critics and your biggest fans, meaning we always strive to brew what’s best: for beer, for you, and for the places we live, work and play.
Longmont, CO
We are a craft-distribution and importing company built on the passion for the product we sell. Inspired by the liquid in the bottle, we have scoured the US and beyond to find, what we believe, to be the best beer, cider and mead available in the world. We go to great lengths to then get these liquids to the customer in the best possible condition. Our suppliers work hard to make a world class product and we’re dedicated to treating them with the respect they deserve.
We do not carry multinational macro-lagers or “utility” beers
We do not carry beer brewed with adjuncts used to reduce flavor and body.
We are not in the business of “moving boxes”
